Grace Episcopal Church
Come and walk our beautiful Chartres labyrinth located in Grace Commons across the street from the church at the corner of E. 7th St. and Liberty. The labyrinth is an ancient symbol dating back as much as 3,500 years. The Chartres design was first built in Chartres Cathedral in France around the year 1200 CE. Labyrinth walks are intended to enhance prayer and meditation, and they are particularly useful when seeking divine guidance in resolving problems or letting go of worries. Our priest, Alice Nichols, is a trained Labyrinth Facilitator, and she would be glad to schedule times to meet with individuals or groups to give information, orientation, and guidance in using the labyrinth as a spiritual practice. Contact the church at 885-8757 to set up a time.
