The Hopkinsville Christian County Family YMCA is seeking a motivated, outgoing professional to grow membership, expand donor support, and build corporate and community partnerships. Reporting to the President/CEO, this director will connect individuals, businesses, and organizations with opportunities to participate in and support the YMCA’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit new members through business visits, community outreach, presentations, and follow-up.

• Develop and expand the YMCA’s Corporate Partner Program.

• Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners.

• Support the Annual Campaign and secure sponsorships for programs, events, scholarships, and facility projects.

• Collaborate with YMCA directors to promote programs and identify opportunities for growth.

• Assist with marketing, donor communications, and community presentations.

• Track prospects, maintain accurate records, and meet established fundraising, membership, and partnership goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising, sales, business development, marketing, membership recruitment, or community relations. Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently, follow through consistently, and confidently ask for support. Nonprofit or YMCA experience is preferred.

This full-time position requires a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends, and regular outreach within the community.
