Trail of Tears presented by Kristina Scott

Kristina Scott, "Matriarch of the Park," will present an educational program about the Trail of Tears 5-6 p.m. Aug. 15 at Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, 1101 Bethel St. Scott, who serves as head volunteer at the Trail of Tears Commemorative Park and Heritage Center, runs the center; and oversees the park and cemetery. She was awarded the title of Honorable Kentucky Colonel in 2020 for her volunteeris for her community and state. For more information, call 270-887-4262.
