Midday at the Gallery
The Hopkinsville Art Guild's "Midday at the Gallery" programs are presented on the second Wednesday of each month at Noon in the Hopkinsville Art Guild Gallery. This takes place in an atmosphere of fine art created by local artists.
This month everyone is invited to enjoy learning about the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. Karen Shields will share her research into the life of the artist who was popular in the 1920's. Karen became interested in Kahlo when she was on vacation and visiting Mexico. Karen is a retired Christian County Public Schools educator and active in several local organizations.
A light Mexican themed lunch will be provided. The event is free and open to the public.
The event is sponsored by the Hopkinsville-Christian County Newcomers Club.
