Learning to Make Steampunk Jewelry
The Hopkinsville Art Guild is excited to offer a free opportunity for young people to create scary Poe-themed "Steampunk" jewelry on Tuesday, October 18, from 5-7 PM at the Hopkinsville Art Guild Gallery, 108 E 6th Street. Participants will create jewelry from gears, wire, metal parts, mechanical contraptions. old watches, and other oddities. This program is offered as a part of the Hopkinsville Christian County Big Read, sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts. It focuses on the literary works of Edgar Allen Poe, Great Tales and Poems.
