100 Years of American Folk Music Concert
Sounds of the 60s will echo throughout the library during a special live performance by Arnie Weiner March 2 as he presents "100 Years of American Folk Music." The free concert will begin at 1 p.m. at Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, 1101 Bethel St. The audience is invited to sing along to old and new favorites, "Blowin' In the Wind," "Puff the Magic Dragon," and "Where Have All the Flowers Gone." About the Artist: Arnie Weiner, a product of the 50s and 60s, is a retired public school teacher and school district level administrator from the Los Angeles Unified School District. Arnie has performed American Folk Music for more than 50 years. He honed his skill while serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict era.
