POSITION DESCRIPTION
The primary purpose of the Institutional Effectiveness Specialist is to provide information for use by institutional decision-makers relating to the planning function and the effectiveness of all college functions.
 
Major Responsibilities/Duties
  • Coordinate the collection, analysis, and dissemination of institutional data, including internal and external data requests.
  • Design, prepare, and conduct analyses on a variety of data sets according to institutional requests.
  • Maintain assessment and exit interview survey results for departments such as Student Services, Academic Affairs and Human Resources.
  • Present research findings in written or oral formats
  • Manage and maintain historical data related to enrollment, performance, graduation, admissions, etc.
  • Assist in strategic planning for the college.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Business, Statistics, Social Science, or related field), and two years related experience, or equivalent.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including a wide range of functions.
  • Strong reporting, analytic, problem solving, and technology skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people with diverse backgrounds (technical and non-technical), in other departments, and with all levels of organizational management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
 
KY law requires state and national pre-employment background checks as a condition of employment.
